Amphibious robot that can follow you home
Aqua is a self-exploration robot, a fully amphibious robot with a unique sport mode developed by McGill University, NYU and Dell House. On land, it moves with a flipper, in the water, the flipper is used to swim again. Aqua can be programmed to explore the waters on its own, or even follow the diver's webbed feet to become a diver's assistant. Based on the site where this robot project is launched, the unique swimming action makes the Aqua extremely flexible, allowing it to perform tasks in a complex environment such as a coral reef. With amphibious action, Aqua can do the job in extremely shallow waters that traditional diving robots can not afford.
